Angel Kibble is a Canadian Army Veteran, author and advocate who opens up
about her life’s journey to empower and inspire others living with physical and psychological injuries to live an aligned, balanced and purpose driven life with self acceptance with grace.
Angel is medically released from Canadian Armed Forces with over seven years of honourable service. This left her with extensive, permanent and debilitating physical and psychological injuries including Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Military Sexual Trauma (MST), and Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS). Struggling to understand and accept her new injuries while concurrently battling the bureaucratic Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC) nearly claimed her life. With the unwavering support of her loved ones, she sought and formed an exceptional support team including medical experts. Her determination and resilience over many years allowed her to find the hope she needed to start healing and rebuild a new life with acceptance and grace.
Angel’s resilience through the face of adversity has her continually embracing new opportunities, experiences and challenges despite her disabilities. Her holistic and mindful approach has led to her certification as a trauma informed coach and becoming best-selling author.
Born in Sarnia, Ontario, and spending most of her youth in the Okanagan, wanderlust has Angel experiencing and exploring globally and within her own backyard. She now resides with her husband and service dog on Canada’s rugged west coast — the exceptionally beautiful Vancouver Island.
